We take our Alaskan ferry down from Petersburg to Bellingham, Washington, where enroute we are visited by hundreds, if not thousands, of porpoises (eine Delphinart).

We pick up our trailer in Palm Springs then proceed to the coast--to Oceanside (just north of San Diego) where we are greeted by another big storm--first a lot of rain and then a huge yacht beaches in front of our campsite. He couldn't find the entrance to the harbor in the night and was dashed apart on the rocks. Helicopters hover around us all night.

But the sun eventually shines again so we polish the Bambi trailer for the APPL (National Park) trade show

Our Bambi Airstream trailer is part of our display, where we sell 1930 WPA park poster reproductions to the National Park Bookstores around the country.

Generously Paragon Press shares the booth with our trailer which needs more room than expected.

After a busy (and fun) day, Ranger Doug is relaxing at the piano and the groupies are already there!

Next stop Hawai'i
